Home Remedies For Dandruff

Dandruff Home Remedies

If you have tried the dandruff shampoos and didn't have any luck. Or if you just don't like the idea of having to pay for the expensive dandruff treatments and are looking for a more budget friendly solution, give some or all of the home remedies for dandruff found on this site a try.

This page is your guide to treating your dandruff from common home items such as lemon juice or baking soda. There are a ton of treatments to choose from, some might just be old wives tales but some actually will work, depending on the actual cause of your flakes.

In fact it might be worth trying these home solutions before jumping to the expensive treatments as they might more narrowly pin point the problem.

How you ask? Well most home remedies are more singular in origin. They have only one or two ingredients. They aren't like a normal shampoo with ten different ingredients in them. If the shampoo worked, how do you really know which ingredient in the shampoo actually stopped your problem. It could have been any single one of them. Or it could have been a mixture.

This is why using home remedies might be a good starting point. If your dandruff is caused by one single thing and the ingredient you choose attacks that one problem and works you will know your cause of dandruff.

At that point you can choose to continue the home cure or seek a medical opinion. I always advocate seeing a doctor but I do understand the do it yourselfer mentality. Choosing to try these dandruff remedies without a doctors advice is upto you and most the ingredients are natural but as a disclaimer I must say you should see a doctor before putting anything on your body that you normally wouldnt. Even though most of the ingredients in these will be natural.

I will constantly be adding more individual remedies and adding descriptions and how to implement them. They will be along the right column.
